Position: Milagro Theatre Arts Education Coordinator
Job Description
Milagro’s Education Coordinator will work with the Milagro Executive Artistic Director to manage both internal and external education programs. This is an in-person job with office hours Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 (flexible) at Milagro, or in schools, with occasional weekend hours. Day-to-day duties include contacting schools, managing schedules and coordinating school activities.
Job Duties
- Coordination of school residencies, workshops, lecture demonstrations, professional training programs and all activities for schools and communities.
- Manage all residency and workshop activity, including scheduling and creating anecdotal reports.
- Contacting schools to book workshop activity.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts with emphasis on arts education, or related work experience. Spanish fluency to some degree is helpful.
Preferred Qualifications
Related arts education teaching in schools, working with POC youth a plus. Native speakers of Spanish are encouraged to apply.
Benefits
This position has a starting pay of $19 per hour, based on experience.
